Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania!
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. Meet your family-friendly guide. Transfer to Arusha lodge with swimming pool. Afternoon at leisure - kids can swim while parents relax. Welcome dinner with safari briefing for the family.
Day 2: Tarangire - Elephant Paradise
Drive to Tarangire where kids will love counting elephants! Flexible game drives with breaks. Picnic lunch with playground area. Educational talk about elephants for children. Evening at lodge with pool.
Day 3: Lake Manyara - Flamingo Fun
Short drive to Lake Manyara. Search for tree-climbing lions - kids love this! Spot pink flamingos and learn about colors in nature. Hot springs visit. Afternoon swimming and relaxation.
Day 4: Journey to Serengeti
Scenic family drive to Serengeti with stops at viewpoints. Kids get safari activity books. Enter Serengeti - look out for "Simba"! Afternoon game drive searching for lion cubs and baby animals.
Day 5: Full Day Serengeti Family Adventure
Flexible full day in Serengeti. Morning game drive then lunch at lodge with swimming. Optional afternoon game drive or kids can stay at lodge with activities. Educational wildlife talk for children.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Morning game drive with focus on animals kids recognize. Mid-morning drive to Ngorongoro. Stop at Maasai village for cultural family interaction - kids meet Maasai children, learn beading, see homes.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Natural Zoo
Early descent into the crater - it's like a giant natural zoo! Spot the Big Five with kids. Picnic lunch by hippo pool (safe distance). Count different animal species - fun competition. Afternoon return to lodge.
Day 8: Farewell & Departure
Leisurely breakfast. Junior Ranger certificate ceremony for children! Drive to Arusha with stops at craft markets for souvenirs. Lunch in Arusha. Airport transfer with wonderful family memories.
