Bald Eagle Safaris was founded in 2009 by Joseph Kimaro, a local Tanzanian who grew up in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. After spending years working for international safari companies, Joseph saw an opportunity to create something different — a safari company that offered the quality and professionalism of big operators, but with the personal touch and authentic local knowledge that only a Tanzanian company can provide.
